It's Here! Yay! My new book, Child of Many Colors, Stories of Transracial Adoption is finally done. It seems like I've been waiting to see this book for years. What do you guys think of the cover? I love it! Well, of course it's a picture of my family, so how could I not, but I truly think it turned out wonderful. It was so different writing my real life story compared to all the novels I've written. I think that's why this book is so close to my heart. If you're a fan of my fiction, take heart. This book has it all. Love, tears, heartbreak, drama and the best thing about it is, it's all real. And it's not just my story, but it's a compilation of the stories of many families and their journey to adoption. If you or someone you know is considering adoption, this is the perfect book. It gives you a real picture of what's involved and the highs and lows of what you go through. And if you noticed the title and picture, you'll know that this book is specifically about adopting black children and what a wonderful, miraculous and joyful experience it can be.
